iPDF local combines a capable on-device PDF editor with the self-hosted services you already control. Open, scan, edit, sign and organize PDFs locally. When you need more, connect your own Stirling PDF, Nextcloud and Paperless-ngx servers.

What’s new in version 2.0

• The local PDF editor is now the app’s main workspace
• Add and edit text, signatures, freehand ink, highlights, circles, rectangles and stamps
• Resize and freely rotate objects, or rotate them in precise 90° steps
• Move objects between pages and control color, line width, background and opacity
• Rotate, delete, reorder and create blank PDF pages
• Scan paper documents with the native camera workflow
• Manage local drafts with thumbnails, rename, delete and cleanup actions
• Share an editable PDF with Pro or export a permanently flattened copy
• Import PDFs locally and convert common office and image formats with Pro
• Clear connection states for Stirling PDF, Nextcloud and Paperless-ngx

Local editing

The core editor works directly on your device. PDF files and drafts remain local unless you explicitly share them or choose one of your configured private services.
